Privacy & Safety
Section titled “Privacy & Safety”- Within the family, only parents and co-parents see a child’s reading progress, sessions, notes and goals.
- A child’s profile starts private. If the child makes it public or joins public book clubs, what they share there is visible like any other user’s.
- A child can always leave the family at any time from their own account.
- The family owner can delete the family at any time. This removes memberships and rewards; the child’s books and reading history stay in the child’s own account.
- Bookworm is for ages 13 and up, and readers under 18 need a parent’s or guardian’s permission. See the Privacy Policy for how a minor’s data is handled.
